Hello everybody.

So for all of those who saw the big guy steping out of the taxi yesterday and was wondering who he was, It would be me the 'new' art teacher at the institute just back from the West Coast Annex. For those who want to know everybody across there is doing fine. So hope to see a few of you students in my classes.

PS. anybody over twenty ones up for a welcome back/good to meet you drinks?

How's it goin', big guy?

I'm Jared, over 21 and bartender at Harry's. You're always welcome for some funny drinks and late night bitching about life.

And by the way, welcome back

I didn't know you were planning on coming back here.

I've been talking to Xavier about it for a while. I didn't know you would need to be told.

It would have been nice to know.

But you do know, I sent a message to the staff, last I heard from you, you were heading back to the Mansion therefore you would be on the staff message board. Since we haven't talked since you left I didn't know anything had changed.

Considering I returned to New York to work for my father, and not Xavier, that was a pretty stupid conclusion for you to come to.

Really is that why you left? I didn't realize there was a reason. I didn't get that, from what I remember I got told you had left by Jean.

My father is sick, so yes. There was a reason.

I'm sorry about your father Warren.

But I didn't know that. I know that we had broken up by the time you had left but it would have been nice for you to have told that you were leaving.

I did tell you I was leaving.

... before I left? I told you about it before I announced it to everyone else.

I don't remember that, but then again I don't remember a lot of things from that time.

Lets just say I was a little emotional.

anyway I'm back at the school & possibly helping set up another one of the community groups out on this side of the country.

Good luck with that. I'm sure I'll see you at training.

Decay boy drinking is a bad idea. But welcome back. (Does saying that count when I wasn't here when you were here the first time?)

Are you going to start telling me I do too much sculpture and my painting technique needs work now? Because I'm going to claim injury on this one.

Date: 2010-09-14 04:04 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] x-colossus.livejournal.com
Of course it does, particularly since the great to meet is sort of redundant.

And your painting technique does need work, and if you can sculpt you can paint. What did you do to yourself by the way?

Date: 2010-09-14 05:40 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] x-wither.livejournal.com
We've been over this, I sculpt metal. That is nothing like painting.

Well, first I fought a wall and the wall won. Or the force won and I was fighting the force. basically I ended up with a bunch of cracked ribs. Then I exploded my hand. I guess technically an explosion went off under my hand but that takes longer to say. Now my thigh is on my hand. It's sexy...but at least they shaved it before they put it on? I dunno.

Date: 2010-09-14 05:52 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] x-colossus.livejournal.com
Yes, you sculpt metal, hence if you can sculpt you can paint, work on it and you'll be a fully rounded artist. But I wont go on about it for at least the next couple of days.

You have been busy haven't you, do I need to take on you as a body guard client? You seen to need somebody to look after you and stop you doing the crazies.

Date: 2010-09-14 02:38 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] x-wither.livejournal.com
You're just bias. Your sculpture technique could use some work, you know.

Nah. I'm not usually so injury prone. I leave that to the people who go out and try to save the world. Like Kyle. The wall thing was an accident and the second thing, well, that was intentional. But it was the right thing to do. It's a long story. Moral of the story, I think I"m good without a bodyguard.

From: [identity profile] x-colossus.livejournal.com
I know my sculpture technique could use some work. I basically haven't done any sculpture since you left the West Coast, Its really just not what I do. You saw how bad my piece was.

Okay, I am going to take your word on that being the correct thing to do. I don't exactly know how that works but I'm sure somebody will explain it to me. At least your not on drugs or anything, that could have got awkward for those around you I mean your crazy enough without them.

Date: 2010-09-15 12:20 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] x-wither.livejournal.com
Yeah, I saw. It brought me pain. Lots and lots of actual, physical pain. We're gonna have to work on that.

...There is sadly proof of me and my crazy on too many pain meds on the journals. The shame....

Oh now I'm going to have to read that.

This is amazing Kevin, so funny. But who's Mr. Stick?

Date: 2010-09-15 12:35 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] x-wither.livejournal.com
Mr. Stick was my only friend, okay? He was a tongue depressor I drew a face on. He ended up with a whole family. And a dog. And I think a couple friends. I got bored all doped up in the medlab alone, ok?

From: [identity profile] x-colossus.livejournal.com
Oh good I was worried for a moment then.

Creative even when drugged up. How could you be anything but an artist?

Date: 2010-09-15 12:41 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] x-wither.livejournal.com
You should probably worry more. Unless you thought I was being crass and trying out penis puppetry. Then you should totally worry less.

A really restless artist. My hand's too messed up to try to do any sort of sculpture with so all I can do is draw. Can't paint because I've been too drugged to even attempt that. I'm tempted to get someone to bring me Play Doh or sculpey or something.

Date: 2010-09-15 12:45 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] x-colossus.livejournal.com
Isn't play doh made of mainly flour and water... so organic material, you will have to work it with gloves on and that takes half the fun out of play doh.

Date: 2010-09-15 12:50 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] x-wither.livejournal.com
I work with everything that isn't metal or stone with gloves on. I'm used to it. I keep vinyl gloves stuffed into a pocket all the time because of food and stuff. Play Doh would be the same thing.

Date: 2010-09-15 01:04 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] x-colossus.livejournal.com
I guess that's true.

Next time i go into town I'll get you something. You can show me how to improve my sculpture skills.

From: [identity profile] x-wither.livejournal.com
Maybe we can teach you the difference between skeletal structure and a cocoon. :)

Date: 2010-09-15 01:11 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] x-colossus.livejournal.com
Very funny. Maybe i can find you something in-organic, I hear they make synthetic modeling wax.

Date: 2010-09-15 01:17 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] x-wither.livejournal.com
Synthetic and inorganic aren't the same thing. If it's not essentially made of minerals I can't touch it with bare hands. Just because you find it weird to work with gloves on doesn't mean I do. I've been doing everything this way since I was sixteen.

Date: 2010-09-15 02:03 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] x-colossus.livejournal.com
Okay cool, just thought it would be cool for you to work something without having to use gloves. But I guess that would be more weird for you then using gloves wouldn't it.

Date: 2010-09-15 02:06 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] x-wither.livejournal.com
Yeah, pretty much. I appreciate the thought and all though. It's easier to just sort of interact with everything the same way. It can get frustrating to be able to do some things the way everyone else does but then not be able to other things that maybe matter more that way too.

Date: 2010-09-15 02:09 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] x-colossus.livejournal.com
That makes sense.
